Carole Fontaine

Carole Fontaine’s Artistry

Carole began her artistry with doodles, cartoons, and archaeological renderings. Eventually, she explored many disciplines, including life drawing, charcoal, painting, and mixed media. Carole always worked on paper while exploring other disciplines, including macrame, polymer clay beading, one-of-a-kind art books, and extensive beadwork. She collaborated with other artists from time to time and was the founder of Greenheart Studio in Newton Center. In retirement, she created glassworks in her glass kiln studio overlooking the forest behind her house in the Berkshires of Massachusetts.
